Othello Partners, in partnership with USAA Real Estate Services Company, broke ground on this exciting mixed-use development in July 2009. Along with 351 units of apartments, the project includes approximately 20,000 square feet of retail space fronted on Martin Luther King Jr. Way and South Othello Street.
The building will feature excellent amenities such as a fitness center, an Internet café, a grand lobby, outdoor grilling areas and a 7,000 square foot rooftop deck, and many units will have views of Mount Rainier and the Cascades. The east side of the building will also overlook the 7.6 acre Othello Park and Playground. Othello Partners is pursuing LEED and "Built Green" certification for this project. Additionally, although ample parking is included with the project, we expect many tenants will want to give up their automobile and utilize light rail for all their commuting needs.
